Brunch, Group Chats, and Running Late: A Completely Unscientific Quiz to Reveal Your Supernatural Alignment

Every personality quiz on the internet promises to reveal who you really are. This one actually does — by sorting you into one of two supernatural archetypes whose lifestyle differences explain everything from your texting habits to your relationship with sunlight.

Answer honestly. Your group chat already knows.

The Quiz

1. It's Saturday at 10 a.m. Where are you? A) Already up, already gone, nobody knows where. B) Awake, technically, but indoors with the curtains drawn.

2. Your friend texts "you up?" at 2 a.m. A) No response. They'll figure it out. B) Instant reply. You've been awake and thriving since sundown.

3. Brunch invitation for Sunday at 11 a.m. A) You've never attended a brunch. You don't plan to start. B) You'd love to, but you physically cannot, and you'll say something vague and mysterious instead.

4. How do you feel about mirrors? A) Tools. You use them for checking sightlines and nothing else. B) Complicated.

5. Your group chat is planning a surprise party for you. A) You already know about it. You've known for three weeks. You're going anyway. B) You found out and now the whole chat must be quietly dealt with.

6. Your ideal vacation: A) Solo hiking trip. No itinerary shared with anyone. B) A European city at night with incredible architecture and no daylight activities.

7. Someone cuts in line at the coffee shop. A) You let it go but you will remember this person forever. B) You make a scene. You've been alive for centuries and this is your entertainment.

8. Your relationship with running late: A) You are never late. You are also never early. You simply appear at the correct moment. B) You're always late because you lost track of time — for a decade or two.

9. Sunscreen usage: A) Minimal. You've trained your skin on long missions. B) SPF 100, wide-brim hat, and even then it's a gamble.

10. Your financial philosophy: A) Spend nothing. Own nothing traceable. B) You have generational wealth and it shows, subtly, in your coat.

11. Someone asks you to be their emergency contact. A) You agree and then vanish, but you WILL show up if it matters. B) You're flattered, then you explain you can't be reached during daylight hours.

12. Your greatest fear: A) Being seen. B) Being boring.

Scoring

Mostly A's: You're a Ninja. You are a ghost with a fitness routine. You reply to texts in your own time, you've never posted a story in your life, and your friends describe you as "hard to reach but would absolutely drive through a hurricane for you." Your brunch absence is not a flaw. It's a brand.

Mostly B's: You're a Vampire. You have main character energy and a nighttime circadian rhythm that terrifies your cardiologist. You're generous, dramatic, nocturnal, and your skincare routine is a matter of survival. Your friends forgive your lateness because your stories are unmatched.

Split down the middle: You're a dhampir — a hybrid — and honestly, the most functional person in your group chat. You attend brunch AND stay out until 2 a.m. See a doctor about that.

What Your Answers Actually Say

The quiz works because the ninja-vampire divide isn't about fangs or throwing stars. It's about visibility. Ninjas are the people in your life who show up without being asked and leave without being thanked. Vampires are the ones who make everything an event, arrive at midnight, and somehow pay the whole tab.

Every friend group has both. Every family dinner requires both. Share your result with the group chat — assuming the ninja in it responds, which he won't, but he read it. He always reads it.
